A classic in recliner design the Newberry has a two-tiered, padded back, rolling padded arms and pillowed seating for extra comfort. Its double stitch sewing adds a tailored look as well as strength and durability to all seams. It is fashioned with top grain 'Sierra Red' leather on all inside surfaces (back, seat, arms and ottoman) and high end leather splits on the outside back and outside arms. The leather has deep burgundy tones that lend an air of richness to any home decor. This recliner is designed with sinuous wire seating and swing anchors for added seating comfort. The seat box is crafted with hard wood for a more sturdy frame and extra seat life. A mortise and tenon frame with glued joints and corner blocks add to the solid frame construction. All stitching has reinforced backing to strengthen the seams and reduce slippage and wear. The recliner back can be removed easily to fit through small doorways and up stairs.
